STAPI has designed & developed following training modules and imparting training to development professionals in Programs supported or implemented by Government of India, State Government, World Bank, United Nations or other International organizations of repute. STAPI offers following Training Modules interested Stakeholders engaged in various facets of Rural Development.

“Capacity Building of NGOs in Formation / Promotion / Development and Bank Linkages of SHG’s”

Duration : 04 Days

This will be a participatory workshop in which experts will guide mainly on the following topics.

  • Overview of Micro Finance Sector in India
  • Experience of Various NGOs/SHPIs & SHGs
  • Concept & Evaluation and empowering of rural poor through SHGs
  • Formation of SHG, Criteria for selection of SHG members, stages in group development and saving needs.
  • Evolving rules & regulations for SHGs, rotation of leadership
  • Preparation of Agenda for SHG Meeting and conduct of SHG meeting
  • Internal Loaning system, criteria for loan to SHG members
  • Role & functions of animators, field workers, coordinators
  • Maintenance of various books of records.
  • Bank Linkage Procedure, Gradation of SHGs, Monitoring and Evaluation
  • Productive activities by SHG
  • Case Presentation and Discussion
  • Participatory Rural Appraisal Technique

“Capacity Building of NGOs in Right To Information Act – 2005 & Role of NGOs”

Duration : 02 Days

This will be a participatory workshop in which experts will guide mainly on the following topics.

  • RTI Perspective
  • Important Provisions of RTI – 2005
  • Case Studies
  • Role of NGO in dissemination of RTI
  • Pro Active Disclosure

“Capacity Building of NGOs in of Pre- Project Planning Project Formulation, Project Preparation and Management / Project Monitoring and Evaluation”

Duration : 03 Days

This will be a participatory workshop in which experts will guide mainly on the following topics:

  • Need and Importance of Project Planning & Need and Importance of Project Formulation, Project Preparation & Pre- Project Preparation
  • Conceptual understanding of Terminologies used in the Proposal
  • Project Planning: Situation Analysis and Identification of key areas of intervention
  • Project Planning: Setting Objectives & Goals, conceptual inputs followed by exercise
  • Understanding Log frame Analysis – Case and Exercise
  • Preparing Log frame for the project
